“The Burning”

It was the beginning of the end of America'a Civil War, but little is known or written about it.

In the fall of 1864, the Shenandoah Valley endured thirteen days of burning and devastation. With the "confederate breadbasket"  eradicated, it proved to be the final blow to the southern states, yet ironically, lead the way to the birth of a new nation, united, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Dad's Dream is pleased to collaborate with Two Rivers Video Productions, John Heatwole and other distinguished historians, in creating a film about this decisive time in our nations' history.

Utilizing today's high definition technology, "The Burning" will be offered for use in both local and national television broadcast.

Consisting of two phases, we hope to have Phase I completed by the end of October 2004, with Phase II completed in early 2005.

Phase I:  Production of a 3 to 5 minute video, plus script outline for a 15 to 20 minute video.

Phase II: Production of a 20 minute video.
